Electrical power and energy systems have gained a translational change in recent times. The entire world has been witnessing a big leap from conventional power and energy systems to smart grid systems and distributed generation systems. In the present scenario, information technology cannot be set apart from being integrated into these electrical systems. The theme of this conference is “Smart Technologies for Power and Renewable Energy” and includes keynote lectures, paper presentations and virtual poster presentations. The aim of the conference is to create a platform where experts from academia and industry share the recent developments in this area by which researchers, students and faculty get benefitted. The IEEE PES Kerala Chapter, The Energy Management Centre, Govt of Kerala and The Institution of Engineers (India), Kochi Local Centre are associating with PECon-2021.
